How is this possible: when cops lay out spike strips ahead of a car chase and cause the suspect to?
Posted by admin in Current Events, tags: Car Chases, Cops, Darwin Award, Faa License, Innocentlose control and kill an innocent motorist (as happened west of Asheville NC about 7 years ago), the cops are not guilty of a crime ….
…. but if some helicopter pilots employed to ~sensationalize~ news stop paying attention to flying and collide, then the car chase suspect — who is on the GROUND, mind you — is magically responsible for the kind of flying that should result in the loss of FAA license?
Helo video car chases does not enhance serious journalism and is not even remotely necessary to convey news. It’s obscene the Phoenix police want to charge someone who is already guilty of other crimes with the Darwin Award flying of some pilots who made their own choice to be doing something pointless, dangerous and stupid (and fuel wasting no less).
Is there anything we Americans willingly do that we DON’T blame others for? Do we EVER accept the consequences of our actions?
